So, I have a wonderful pair of Fugawee Continental "Deeps", but both the heel and the toe are hobb-nailed onto the shoe.
Has anyone had any particular success in having a shoe maker modify their shoes to make sure they don't scuff and scratch the dance floor?

They should be able to glue plastic or rubber to the bottom easily. Just make sure you tell them it is for dancing or they may use a material that is too sticky for a dance floor.

Captain,
Can you please recommend a place to buy men's shoes? My husband is looking for a pair, mostly for dancing, and we're sort of new at all this.
Much obliged,
