Hey! I realize this is kind of last minute but I just found out about it myself. The Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History is hosting this big Living History event out at Swift Cantrell Park in Kennesaw. I'm going to probably go out on Sunday in Regency dress if I can find someone to go with me. If anyone local wants to go, drop me a line at info@garegency.org or call me at 678-234-8049 and we'll meet up! Full info here: www.southernmuseum.org/se_through_the_ages.html

I would go if I was in Georgia, but alas I'm in cold dreary Pittsburgh!

I may drag my kids to this on Sun----at least the girls. Wont be in costume though.
We are all a bit on the short side--I am the tallest at 5'5 and all of us are a wee bit round, lol. two redheads and a dyed black.
Though if my son and husband come, you can definitely spot us; both are 5'11-husband has hair almost to his waist and son is massive--about 350, with long hair too. Both guys tend to wear pony tails.

my phone number is 678-234-8049 so if you decide to come call me! Don't worry about costumes. It's most certainly not required, I just figured it's an excuse to play dress up and enjoy the weather.
I don't know what they're going to do about parking - but it will most likely be at North Cobb High School which is about a quarterish mile down from the park entrance. It's at the corner of Blue Springs Road and Old 41 and that's where my friend and I will be parking because there's not a whole lot at the park itself. I'll be wearing a white regency dress, bonnet, and carrying a bright yellow parasol so if you don't call and you see me, feel free to come up or yell my name or whatever. I answer to a lot of things including "hey you."
Hope to see you there, I can't wait to meet you!
