The most that I can offer right now is proofreading. I'm not really an editor and I'm not great at writing in regency language, not mention that I don't really have the time to write. But if you need someone to proofread, I will be willing to do so.

I suck at layout lol.
However, I am interested like I mentioned earlier, in writing a cooking column where I try out regency recipes, share the recipe and the experience of writing them and review the experience as a whole, complete with photos.
I'd also be interested in being editor or assistant editor.

As I've stated in the original thread, I'll be happy to be the proofreader/editor and person who looks over the overall magazine and make sure it's nice, neat, and readable (the exact term escapes me at the moment).

I am practiced at layout and also have the requisite software... so I'd gladly share that task with someone.
I love the idea of having a regency cooking section.
A regency book review section would be great too,
and bringing in some guest writers to write articles... like authors and bloggers.
We can also trawl blogs and see if we can borrow content if there is really great material on it.
Feature articles on regency past-times, like quilling, etc...

Perhaps each issue can have a theme to it? Also, I was thinking of having regular columns and special columns.

I'm willing to Proofread, Research (as I have said I have a lot of it. ) and write whatever needs written. Like I said I have articles on the language of fans, flowers (I believe) and lots of other things. I have information on Carriages, games, and even some dances ect. So if you need info just shoot me a message and I will find some links/and or message you what I have.

The cool thing is that I can probably save the magazine files with active hyperlinks.

I was wondering if there could be a column about advice of a connubial sort LOL It of course would be anonymous lol but I think it would be funny and full of the cleverest of euphemisms. Too crass maybe I just think it'd be funny

I have some skill as a graphic artist (sadly, not as an illustrator) and would be happy to help with the publication. And I have the temerity to boast some skill at writing.

I'd be happy to help out! What about a "travel" column, with a different place explored in each issue, from two perspectives: First, as it would have been during the regency with history, images, historical accounts, etc, and second, as a review of places to see and things to do for the modern visitor? I love the idea of a column for promoting connubial bliss Advice on the management of household staff and children may be included, in addition to the management of husbands.

I don't know if this is still being planned, but I would be willing to help in any way possible. I like to research, proof read, write (pretty well, but a journalist I am not) editorial (to a point) and idea's. I can also gather pictures...seriously, I can help with almost anything. I will admit that when it comes to putting together a layout on the computer, I might not be your Go-To girl. I think some good regular columns would be about ladies and gentleman's fashions along with a cosmetics section; also a fake (mixed with some real) society pages and news. Maybe taken from real articles from the era. I know that I am always intrigued by the stories of things that have happened. My parents once had this news paper printed over a hundred years ago and on the front page was the story of a young girl who dressed as a boy and stowed away in a cargo ship to get to the area we now call Alaska. Let me know if there is anything that you would like help with. *EDIT* Been doing some tinkering around on my computer, and I can safely say that I will be willing to do the layout if that job needs filling. I am very eager to get this going, so whomever is in charge, let me know if ANYTHING needs doing.
