Pattern Review Suggestions

I think that it would be a good idea to keep the pattern review section just for pattern reviews. That way when you need to find information on a specific pattern you do not have to wade through non-pattern specific discussion. So if we could all do a few things I think we will be able to keep this section tidy and user friendly.

1. Keep each thread limited to one specific pattern and not entire pattern company listings. Unless we decide we'd like a Choosing a Pattern sub board.

2. Try to refrain from posting tangents by starting new threads in their related category.

How horrible an example I am; running off on tangents too. Ooops. That's the problem with the 15 recent posts, you tend to forget context as you reply away.

I can totally see how that can happen. Oddly tough I rarely use the 15 most recent posts when I am reading the threads. I just go and fine all the threads that say New. Do you think we should add a help me choose a patterns sub board here?

I must confess to being rather lax about sticking to the subject, too. It does seem to be a problem with using the "last 15 posts". I will try to be better about it in future.

It might be worthwhile to clean up some of the more reference-like threads (such as pattern reviews). Is it possible to move posts around?

I can only move entire threads and modify posts on a thread. I would hate to go through and delete peoples posts that already exist. I will probably move some threads around.
