I have finished reading all of the novels of Jane Austen it was such fun. It is weird that it took me so long to start. Now I feel like I have missed a million other books.
Anyway, my favourite was Northanger Abbey. I also really liked Persuasion, Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice.

My fav book is Northanger followed by Persuasion, I have not read S&S, MP and Emma yet. I am currently reading Jane Eyre, I just needed something not Austen because my surroundings thinks that I am to much Jane Austen obsessed .. but im half way though and can strongly recommend it!

Pish Posh, there is no such thing as "too much Jane Austen Obsessed" -- perhaps your friends are simply "Too much Jane Austen deprived", perhaps you should look at it that way.

Are folks ready to watch Northanger Abbey this Sunday? Of the three ITV movie adaptations, it is definitely my favorite.

I'm ready to watch it, and I hope I will like it more than I did the last version; however even the book doesn't rate amongst my favourites.

I'm celebrating by wearing my favorite NA t-shirt, which says, "Her passion for ancient edifices was next in degree to her passion for Henry Tilney." As true of me, I suspect, as it was of Catherine. Can't wait to discuss the adaptation with all my friends here! I'm also going to be attempting to lead a discussion about it on my NA livejournal community (linked in my signature) if anybody wants to join and/or contribute over there. I'd be much obliged to you if you do, as it's a struggling little community. I'm very nervous about the cuts they may have made, however. I think it would be just our luck if the powers that be have deleted Henry's best lines. Grrr....
