How exceptionally wonderful to meet other Regency enthusiasts! I bring glad tidings from the gateway to the south, the bluegrass state, home of the Kentucky Derby and Abe Lincoln country! I dwell among the lush, green valleys and rolling hills that make up the foothills of Appalachia, where four-board fences, delights of the countryside and a deep faith in the Lord inspire my writing. I love sewing, cross stitching, crochet, reading, gardening, walking... the fine arts and literary pursuits. Have been thinking of teaching myself to play violin of late. Mainly though, I love to write!
I am the authoress of two Christian, Regency Romance novels: To Find a Duchess and The Redemption of Lady Georgiana. I've also written a Victorian series and am working on a pre-Civil War Era book, to release soon. I wonder if happily, there may be a few among those here who have discovered them. They are my humble contributions meant to inspire faith in the redeemer of the world. If you haven't read them, I hope you will at once seek them out at your very soonest opportunity. I do apply a generous portion of the proceeds toward missions. The Regency Era remains my favorite of the time periods I've written about. Jane Austen was a fine Christian and I lament that there are so few books in the world like hers... so I set out to write more. I do hope you will all enjoy them. An avid reader and lover of many great classical pieces, I tend to write in an old-fashioned style with more narrative and description than others of the modern day world. Do you each find, as I often do, that we seem to fit in with and long for a world that no longer exists unless we bring it into our time?
I am a mother of five (three grown) children and married to my wonderful, husband of nearly eighteen years. I have lived in a number of states in America over the years, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Florida, Texas and Ohio. I am most glad to say Kentucky is home. The people here are among the friendliest I've ever met in any state. I am anxious to find other Regency fans here in Kentucky!

The Redemption of Lady Georgiana is an adaptation from the 'Book of Ruth,' a modern day 'Ruth' love story of Regency proportions! The widowed Earl of County Essex only has eyes for his intended, Lady Juliana... but is hopelessly distracted by the rescue missions for his children's new governess. To Find a Duchess is a mail-order bride Regency novel! The theme is discovering who we really are in Christ. The heroine has no idea her 'gentleman farmer' husband is a Duke! www.LisaPrysock.com is my author website for more about my amazing family and author endeavors.
