So I was just wondering if anyone has seen the relatively new drama about Beau Brummel? It was made in the UK back in 06, I unfortunately dont have cable and always miss out on those wonderful mini series they have on BBC.

I get the BBC America channel, and would like to see it, but I can't find it on their schedule. Darn.

I saw it when BBC America played it. I love James Purfoy and I think he did a very good job as Beau. The movie wasn't bad but it wasn't great either but I enjoyed it. As a writer, it was an excellent education on men's clothing. The soundtrack was good too.

I agree, that's a bit pricey indeed. I will wait until Amazon.com has it

That looked beautiful. I would love to have seen it. I pay for BBC america, but never find anything good on it. Maybe it will come on again.

BBC will probably release it to DVD. They are very good about making their stuff available on DVD.

The DVD is also available on Netflix. The movie itself is so-so. Not bad, not great, but it is still entertaining. The fop vs. dandy street fight scene cracks me up to no end.
