Consider it done!
And Lady Germania, I helped the AzRS get their group started, I would be delighted to assist you too (after the holidays). I will help set you up in the same model as the ORS (Oregon Regency Society), website, etc... And then set you off to recruit your people.

That sounds wonderful. Thank you so much for your help. I'm very excited!! I even found a place not to far from me that teaches and holds English Country Dances. I was amazed! And thanks to this website, I believe that could be our first step. I would love to hold formal balls in the future as well. Who knows, if there is enough of us, maybe we will bring back the long lost traditions of the Regency era and make this nation a better place. ;D

I've found some incredible pictures of past Regency events by other random groups, but I'm not sure where to post the link? Should there be a thread for inspirational picspam?

Not to be a nit picker, but the thread "Never without a proper inroduction..." should probably be "Never without a proper introduction". Is there a way to fix that without deleting the excellent thread?

I am the queen of the typo--it's the price I pay for tryign to type too quickly. It has been fixed. Keep an eyeball out for others. Thanks again.

Keep an eyeball out for others. Thanks again. No problem! When I'm well rested, typos tend to leap out at me and cry: "Stand and deliver!" I like to think it my civic duty to report them. When I'm tired, perfectly ordinary words turn into sometimes humorous, sometimes bizarre constructions, so if I accidentally report something that is otherwise correct in my zeal, please forgive me. ;D

Is there a way to get the forum to display more than the 10 most recent posts?

I'm going to ask this here, because I didn't think I saw the right board to do it on?
(maybe the newbies forum??)
Does anyone know of a good site or source for Jane Austen/regency themed computer wallpaper or screen savers?

All Seeing RSA, I just want to say thank you for doing such a wonderful job on these boards. I can only imagine how much time and effort is going into this work simply to keep us all entertained. Your passion and dedication is such an inspiration to those of us that want to start our own "societies" in our areas. I truly appreciate all that you are doing and want to say THANK YOU for bringing us all together and creating our "home away from home" online. I Exault you!!!!

Awww.... Thanks SO much. That's very sweet. I love the RSA forum. I keep myself logged in and the window open as much as possible during the day just to see who's popping in.

Is there anybody else out there who is passionate about Regency era politics? This from a lady who has read the London Times cover to cover, including the classified ads, for the years 1812-1822, and thinks the Grampound disenfranchisement bill of 1821 is not only exciting, but instructive.
