Okay, you wonder, what in the world does this exalt and smite thing mean underneath members' names?
Well, it's simple. If you read something posted by someone, and you really liked what they had to say; exalt them! Give them a click. If it's someone obnoxious who is non-helpful and horrible, then Smite them! The more exalts a person receives, the higher their Karma gets.
So as time goes on, you will be able to recognize the most revered members by their soaring Karma numbers.
Remember, you can only exalt or smite someone every hour (so you cannot abuse your power!).
Be sure to acknowledge the folks who contribute to this forum the most.
