I have been watching Regency House Party and I love the way the costuming was done. I am guessing that it is pretty accurate seeing as it is done by BBC history people. I am wondering which other films people love to watch for the costumes?
What do you think of all of the regency period films and the costuming you've seen? What outfit from which film would you recreate if you had the time and resources?

Absolutely, I watch for costumes. I liked watching the older BBC productions to see what costumes they reused for each production. You see a lot of the costumes used again and again. I think it's funny how in the '71 version of Persuasion, Anne has a huge fall on her head, and the dresses have giant paisley all over them; and you see those used again in Pride & Prejudice.
The Emma w/ paltrow has some great costumes; and of course P&P 1995. I love Anne's spencer in Persuasion (the newer one), with the little pleated tail on it; almost like a habit, and Lizzie's crew-collar spencer in P&P95.
