I may be off a bit on this book but I wanted to share and see what others thought. Has anyone else read this book? DOes anyone feel as warm and fuzzy as I do when I read it? I think ive read it 4 times now and im not finished. Its different from JA period but im not sure how far.
I read the story "Flowers from the Storm" and fell in love. What a wonderful story. I had a real hard time in the beginning because she using "plain speak" for the female character in most of the book but by the second chapter, I was so enthralled I didnt even stumble. I could almost feel the emotion seeping off the page. The anger in him, the determined streak in her. Her beliefs. His struggles. Goodness, I have to stop or I will dig it out from under the bed and be up all night!
::::::::::::Sigh:::::::::::::::
Just thinking of it makes me want to read it again. I think what really grabbed me was the fact that it was not smutty. I have to admit that Stephanie Laurens is my favorite author. I cant help it. I love the Cynster series. I base my wants of a man on them now so I am ruined for real life marriage for good!
Im not sure if any of Kinsales other books are good but Im sure going to look at it.
Thanks for the tips on Heyer. I want to check out whats going on there.
As for the bookcovers... I have one someone made of cloth with my favorite design on it. The only problem is that I wonder if people think I dont read well because it looks like im always reading the same book!
