Aside from the various take-offs, alternatives and such that have already been written, what mix-ups or alternate endings would you write (or even added-on endings) to your favourite books?
Do share. It's like a creative writing project.

I always felt Mary should have married Mr. Collins. But perhaps she was too young.
I also wished for some more untimely ends for the anti-heroes, rather than "He married and was as happy as he could be, as most villains are, though every now and then he thought of her and sighed over what could have been."
Spin-offs -- Colonel Fitzwilliam. Hands down would be the most perfect spin-off. Though I hear that's been done several times. Maybe a May/December romance with Kitty? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I thought that Mary & Mr. Collins ought to have made a nice match as well, Mary, despite her youth was very sober and pious, and Collins is truthfully, neither--he is only so when it is convenient... ::tee hee::
I do love Colonel Fitzwilliam too. Good notion.

I always thought that Mr. Collins should have married Mary.... They just seem to fit, dispite her age. I would love to see who Margret marries

I all ways thought Mary and Mr. Collin's too but he never looked at her because she wasn't (described as) pretty. I like the way things go in Linda Berdoll's continuances of the story though some might think it's *smutty*
Wickham gets his. Fitzwilliam is involved in those stories too...Kitty Meets and marries a vicar and Mary stays to take care of their mother.
I like the way things wrapped up in Jane's stories. I just missed the passion and growth of admiration for the ones who were well matched and truly in love with each other.
But to be honest I've only read three of her stories.

I always thought that Wickham was probably just a charming rouge that was in the wrong spot at the wrong time, and was probably accused of something that was not the case, as usually happened in those times. I also thought that to teach Bingly's sister a lesson, Lady Catherine De Burgh(sp) should have married HER to Collins, seeing as how they were both her little pets.

Would serve them all right. ;D
