My friends and I go to Dragon Con in Atlanta every summer. We love to make movie costumes and such. We do a Moulin Rouge Theme night every year and for the last 2 years I have worn a Little Bo Peep Can Can Dress I made. Here is a pic of me and Sammi, she is a Can Can Lady Bug! Many of the Moulin Rouge people Here we all are as various Movie Heroines. I am Lily from Legend, Traci is Satine in the Tower Dress, Sam is from FireFly, Jenn is Cinderella and Ash is Claudia from Interview with a Vampire So there are some other, non historical things I have made

Love the Bo Peep...All those ruffles!!!!
It looks like such fun. I wish I could sew [sigh].
We are huge Firefly fans, so I really like your friends River costume as well.
Maybe I'll have to take some sewing classes....

I really like that steam-punk look from Firefly; mix of late victorian and modern technology... I've been noticing a sort of surge in interest in that costume style lately. I saw this really cool retrofitted steampunk laptop here... www.datamancer.net/steampunklaptop/steampunklaptop.htmI love Joss Whedon. ::swoon::

Great costumes. I'm afraid I can't sew either but I wish I could.

It is tooooo cooool! He sent me links for an MP3 player and a tower hard drive the was made into some sort of brewery. He should share more often. Thanks Allseeing, for opening my eyes. <insert Disney music> " A Whole New World!.."
