It seems like I can't be the only person who could use a hand with various back-lacing garments. I would also be desperately grateful for a ride to and from the ball, since I have no vehicle myself (except one of those newfangled safety bicycles, but I fear I'd muss my gown). Four o'clock in the afternoon seems like a fine time to get started, with plenty of time for arrangements. I'm happy to provide the house (in SE Portland), last-minute thread and needle, safety pins, bobby pins...
