I finally ordered my Regency dress. Yay! I ordered it from this lovely costumer on Etsy(I sell soap on Etsy, and we had exchanged many comments and emails before I discovered she also made Regency clothing). I am getting a simply gown in a burgundy-ish, shade of red with chocolate brown embellishments and a chocolate pelisse as well. The dress itself is short sleeved so I wanted the Pelisse for cooler days. She's making it now so I can't wait to see it. This is the style that we went with, though obviously with solid colours, not print: www.etsy.com/transaction/31550342

It will make a nice daygown. Very pretty. I am curious what pattern that is.

It looks like the Sensibility Regency Gown pattern. Only with a more fitted top. The sleeves look like the ones from that pattern actually. I'm not sure about the sash though.

No idea where she got it from. But I am very excited to get it. I am now on to figuring out what to do with my hair and if I need to get some period correct undergarments to go with it as well.
