I totally fell in love with this dress: www.vintagetextile.com/new_page_57.htmI have no experience in making regency gowns, so I'm afraid this is a Little too challenging for me, but as soon as I made a few simpler dresses I Will deff try this one! Do you think it would look ridiculous on a 16years? xD (well in my size of course)

That dress looks a little odd to me, pretty, but odd. Maybe it's the embroidery? It looks a little like they didn't finish the large motif on the skirt.

Well, you have to remember, this is a baby dress. I know the seller is saying “child” but with skirts that long, this is a “child in arms” – being carried.
I was very, very, very fortunate to visit the Museum of Childhood while I was in London last month. There was a really lovely (really, really lovely!) little girl’s gown which was on white muslin with a really detailed and quite large tambour work motif all over. The tambour work was colourful and looked really striking on the white gown. The curator pointed out that she thought that this gown was cut down from an adult’s gown.
In other words, this stunning child’s dress (made for a little girl somewhere between 6 and 8 – maybe) had probably been made out of one of mama’s ball gowns. With that in mind and a second look, the scale of the patterns on the dress were indeed large for the little dress and it made perfect sense that it was probably from an adult gown.
This lovely baby dress also has that look. Large scale detailed pattern....
