MAY Day Picnic, May 1st 2011 Stone Mountain Park Georgia Please come join the Georgia Regency Society for our second annual May Day picnic, held at the Georgia Frontier Days festival at Stone Mountain Park in the Antebellum Plantation. We'll be bringing some period games such as Graces and Bowls to enjoy, and everyone is invited to bring their favorite dishes from home. This is a potluck event and everyone, all ages, is invited. The Frontier Days Festival is a history event that encompasses all time periods. Come early or stay late... to enjoy the festivities. Find out more about the festival at: festivals.stonemountainpark.com/mini-section/default.aspx?id=72This is a costumed event so we ask that you wear a regency costume. Everyone is responsible for bringing a dish and blankets to sit on. As far as I know the Antebellum Plantation has no tables/benches and the closest place that provides them is a considerable walk away. Please keep this in mind. The picnic itself is free to attend, but it is $11 per person to enter the festival, and $10 per vehicle to park. If you have any questions please email info@garegency.org. Hope to see you all there!
