Some of you know who I am without me ever existing on the boards by the very kind advertisement of myself, my garments, and my writings by The Doctor. Now I have made it my pleasure to be part of this wonderful community, and introduce myself as Miss Waterman, the very same of the Diary Of. I am delighted to make all of your acquaintances and look very much forward to further interactions.

Well Miss Waterman, you have found us at last have you?
I knew it to be only a matter of time before you discover'd this great conversation place and added your voice to it. I look forward to seeing what you shall have to say.
I also look forward to the pleasure of your company at the picnic tomorrow, my only hope is that there will be no rain to drive us indoors. If I do not have a day of sunshine again soon, I shall be quite vexed and absolutely unfit to know!

Welcome! I read the first entry in your diary today, but have not yet gone further. I must admit, however, that your first entry has me wishing to read more, which I shall certainly do as soon as possible.

Dear Miss Waterman,
I have been hearing of this diary and how wonderful it is. If it is quite amiable, could you please post a link to it so that I too may enjoy it.
Cheers

Oh dear me! I must say I find myself shocked and incredibly flattered at the number of avid readers of my journal! I admit when first I started the narrative, I did not expect even half the number of people flocking to it as I have now. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your dedication, and make a sincere promise to you all that I will be better about keeping you all appraised of my welfare!

Dear Miss Waterman,
I have to admit that I could not wait and began reading your journal. You, my dear lady, have a talent with the pen that is most captivating. Now I am simply in stitches until I can arrive at home and read the rest. How wonderful your writing is. You have my compliments and admiration.
Fondest Regards, The Major

My Dear All Seeing, Thank you so much. I've been around for a short while and wondered where you had gone to. But I didn't want to be too forward, I wanted to show compassion for your poor nerves
