Do any of you live in the Northwest Territories? My husband and his unit will be making the trek west from Fort Fayette in Pittsburgh to visit the Fallen Timbers battlefield in Ohio. They are having an event on August 20 at the battlefield, in which we will be participating. I will be following his unit. The timeframe is 1794 and my husband portrays a soldier from the Fourth Sub-Legion of the United States (the first U.S. army after the Rev War and the soldiers that fought at Fallen Timbers). Fort Meigs is also hosting a Life in Early Ohio event that same weekend and I think we will be visitng there as well during our journey. If anyone is planning to attend these events, let me know. I'd love to meet some folks!
