Hello! I'm from Williamsburg, VA, coming into this area from a costuming stand-point (although I would like to be more re-enactment active). I sew a great deal of 18th century clothing, and have begun to move forward into Regency as well. I have a historical sewing business, and work at Colonial Williamsburg in the evenings. Although it's mostly 1770s and 80s, I do post some research and projects from the 1800s and 10s on my blog: mantuadiary.blogspot.comLovely to meet you all! Nicole

Welcome, colev. You and your sewing and historical expertise will be most appreciated here. Hopefully we can reciprocate information to you as well. Look forward to your contributions to this lovely little corner of the net.
Cheers,

Welcome.
You certainly live in the right place.
(With this post, I think I become a shopkeeper. This did not use to be a life goal of mine, but I'm adaptable.)
Devin.
