Greetings to all!
I am yet another time travelling seamstress, having a fondness for Historical Clothing, and the things that pertain to them. Currently my wardrobe includes garments for Medieval, Tudor, Renaissance, Piratical, Victorian, and a little bit of Steampunk and Fantasy for good measure. My husband and I participate in a wide variety of Faires and related events, and thus our broad range of clothing.
For Christmas, I made so bold as to invite my Mother and Sister in Law to a weekend event to be held in Toronto, "A Weekend with Jane Austin" andthat, along with a recent introduction to Contra Dancing (We have been Ceili attenders for years) has prompted my arrival here! I have spent several days lurking about, reading posts and getting a feel for the era, and am pleased to make a more formal acquaintance!
Having always enjoyed Jane Austen, but fearful of the fashion being not so flattering for a lady of my height (I am 6 feet tall) I am, I hope ready to take the plunge as it were!

Welcome! So grad to see that the Regency has snared yet another From everything that I have seen, no height is too tall for the Empire Waist. I am sure that you will look lovely in the periods clothing.

It's delightful to hear that you're ready to add Regency to your historical closet, Lady O, but moreso that you are joining us! Welcome!
