I am new to the Regency world, having made two dresses (one for myself and one for a friend) and an outfit for my husband on a spur for an un-themed costume party. Oh my, am I hooked on how handsome my husband looked in his attire. My heart, it flutters, and now I endeavor to dress him in Regency attire as much as I can. We live in Wisconsin. I desperately want to attend a ball, even if I have to organize it myself...I can't seem to find any Madison-area Regency group. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If more men had even the slightest inkling what Regency garb does to the ladies, they would be doing everything in their power to wear it and wear it often! While it's not a Regency group per se, there is an English Country Dance Group in Madison. They might be able to provide you just the opportunity you need to get Hubby into a tailcoat... Glad to have you here! -uHf
