Now that my stay project is winding down (still working on binding, I did about eight stitches last night, so I haven't finished, but it's on its way to being complete). AAaaanyway, after I put up pictures of the final product, I will be undertaking my net pelisse, and if I have time left, perhaps my leggings/culottes/pantaloons that are not period but slightly important.
But after that, my slate is open. And I will undertake another project. You can pick which one it is (if you dont' care about the net pelisse or the bonnet).
Go ahead... I will do another photo project on here with the most picked item.

I voted all, but just because I NEED to see photos of every project that you do. I think that you should def do the net next, but then I think that you should do the bonnet or the Mode Bagatelle crossover. I think that you should attempt a period pair of drawers or pantaloons.

I'd like to see you do the LMB crossover bodice, simply because I want to make it too. I'm hoping to have a muslin cut this weekend and fitted so maybe I can start my gown for Costume College. Needs a pelisse for it too. I like the Butterick 4890 for that because I like that little part that comes under the bustline.

Some unsolicited advice from someone who's made a pelisse: It's pretty easy to take the same pattern you used for the gown and then to modify to be the pelisse. All you need to do is tweak it so that it has that little part that closes the front. It will also better match your gown if you use the same shape to put over it. Just my 2ยข.

Can you hear me freaking out? Are you going to implode? Oh nooooo... 1) don't panic 2) don't overthink anything. You're lithe, and thin with a nice set of girls, you'll look great no matter what. 3) If all else fails, we can panic together on the weekend of Feb 2nd.

Thanks, for the compliment. I would be in decent shape if my daughter weren't sick and clingy and my husband weren't out of town at a funeral. These things totally screwed up my schedule and I am a week behind. As for panic I don't feel panic yet thanks to some wonderful brainwashing medititaion CDs. I don't know if it will last until the 2nd, so lets plan to panic together on the weekend of the 2nd.

Where the heck *is* everyone? Miss Ida has been in silent-mode, Cosmo is deflating after her gown mayhem and tending to a recovering man; Goblin is wrangling a teething munchkin.... Woe is me, it's so quiet around here; and now that the party is passed, I want to make a nice new daygown I think.
Period Impressions or Bagatelle? I'm angling for a bib-front, now that I've seen Cosmo's awesome dress.
What are your thoughts if you're around? Input please!

Well, I think that you should do the Period Impressions if you are doing a day gown. Mode Bagatelle if you are doing a spencer or pelisse or evening gown.

I'm still up in the air about getting another day-gown. But I also want to retire red gown; and even try a real print (my red gown is a print moire, but you can't really see it) for a change.
I will need a ballgown for the Winter ball, but Winter is the operative word, so it will allow me lots of time to make it; and I'd like to do something custom; with a really tiny back and a very early Regency style.
::::::sigh:::::::
I just don't know.
Maybe I'll ask Dan for a gift card to Fabric Depot or Mill-End for my birthday (never mind that I already claimed my ghingers as an early b-day present... I'm so rotten).

If you are going to retire the red gown, whose print I can clearly see in person. Go with the bib front day gown. You'll want to wear it for events this spring and summer. The ballgown can wait until June at the earliest (I'd Love to help you customize your pattern).
A gift card would be awesome. I hope that you get one.
