So Hubby's breeches came in the mail today, I haven't seen them yet, but Aaron says they barely fit around his waist and they sit way above his knees. I guess that's what happens when you buy them instead of make them. However, I'm bummed about it :-( So, any ideas for pants/ breeches before the 19th?

OH NO! Well... You can go to a costume shop and get him some 'pirate pants'... or a pair of basebal pants will work too if you hem the legs high up. They won't be perfect and they have pockets, but they're tight and they should do for now. Where did you order them from? I've been eyeballing the broadfalls from JA Townsend...

We ordered them from Black Bear Historical Clothing (I think that's the name). They were pre-made and you select your size, and according to the measurements online they were right, but not so when we got them. We're going to return them and get some from JAS Townsend. Thanks for the suggestions. I might just have him wear some nice slacks, gasp, for the 19th. :-(
