Oh, Miss Julia, what exquisite shawls! Will you keep none for your own use?
I do also greatly admire your other images. This is your profession? Marvelous!

Ahhhh, did you say that these were for sale? For how much? I had a perfect "sari" shawl for my upcoming costume, and WHO KNOWS WHAT I was thinking, but while talking to my husband, and obviously NOT thinking....I stuck it in the washer. It was an old and cheap material, and it just shredded. BAH! What an idiot!

Ladies, thank you, you made me laugh this morning. the shawls are for sale, i have kept one, a fifth one for myself, in a natural grey, less embroidered. thanks for thinking of me! that is too kind. but i am too much of a textile strumpet not to keep one. they are all very gorgeous, heirloom quality pieces. i've seen lesser quality ones for sale for over 250 dollars. truely i would love to give them away to good homes to be adored by other textile lovers but i'm asking 150 each. + the postage of your choice. i know it's a lot. i'd be hard pressed to buy one now. i bought these two years ago and had thoughts of bringing them to a re-enactment to see in person. i'm making jewelry, costumes and trying to sell some special textile pieces in addition to the photography which is not paying so well as a living, at least not on it's own. and thank you very much for the comments on my photographs, deeply appreciated. i'm still starting out and it's a hard slog, but i do love it. - Lady S, that is a good story about the sari shawl.. something i would do! - Mrs P, is it you with the gorgeous museum copy bonnet? - Tess, thank you for kind comments on my photographs, greatly appreciated. - Miss C, they are for sale... don't be envious! - Mistress All seeing, thank you for directing me here. most grateful. yrs, miss julia

Yes, Miss Julia, I thank you. I possess a humble replica of a museum bonnet, of my own making.
