I'm hoping to attend the Regency Ball in Eugene this May, and I need to get my hands on some clocked stockings (or plain ones I could embroider myself). Does anyone have a favorite shop? I've seen the ones at Jas Townsend.
Thanks!

I don't think that Regency stockings need to be clocked. It would show through your white muslin gown.

Anna, if you'd care to make your own stockings, the Kranik's Korner pattern works very well. It was very simple to do. I used a patterned cotton knit for mine.

The silk stockings from Smoke and Fire are very nice. You could embroider a pretty motif on the ankle if you like.
