I am travelling from Australia to England to join Jennie Chancey for a week's costuming tour in London, then on to Bath for the Jane Austen Festival.

I've been tossing around the idea about going to bath next year for the JA festival. Of course, that's all contingent on insuring my personal financial obligations are met first... I was considering organizing an ORS group but I can't imagine many could afford it. It would be fun though.

Yes, thats what my husband said. We've had a tragedy of sorts in our family recently that has thrown us badly, and he thinks this is a positive for me to plan towards. Shame though we can't afford for the family to go as well. So if anyone on this list wants to join me for the JAF, that part of my holiday hasn't been organised yet. Does anyone know of any other events around this time that I should consider attending? Seems a shame to go so far and spend so much money and not go to as much as possible.

How great is that??!!
and as for the ORS going to the JA Festival - don't give up just yet - you might be surprised who could afford it if enough notice was given - and who knows what kind of group rates one could get?? How cool would that be?!!
