Does anyone know much about how weddings were celebrated during the Regency Era? I'll be getting married next year and I'm in the early stages of choosing a dress, location, food etc. I'm not finding anything that really excites me, as far as current styles go, I was hoping that with your help, I might find some inspiration. I'm so looking forward to any of your advice!!!! ;D

I found this to be quite informative: www.songsmyth.com/weddings.htmlEdited to add: This site discusses points from engagement all the way through to the wedding, and wedding breakfast. Scroll through, and I am sure you will find something. I found it quite interesting.

WOW!!! How incredibly beautiful is the first dress at hibiscus-sinensis.com/regency/weddingdress.htm, its simple and i love the detail on the front below the empire. Thanks dawnluckham. The cake recipe from Martha Washington was very interesting, I could never imagine using 40 eggs in anything lol. Makes you wonder if it turned out anygood.... Thanks missmardi!!
