Thanks Cosmo! To you too.
Out of curiosity, what does a vegan Thanksgiving look like?

Thanks Cosmo! To you too. Out of curiosity, what does a vegan Thanksgiving look like? We ate green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, baked mac & soy cheese, candied sweet potatoes, rolls, canned cranberry jelly, stuffed roast seitan, pumpkin pie with soyatoo whipped topping, and apple cider. It was yummy!

I hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with loved ones. My Thanksgiving was spent at my folks' home. We had a traditional (by modern standards) Thanksgiving dinner that was fantastic. My Mom outdid herself yet again. Later in the afternoon, Dad, brother, my sister's husband, and I went out back and shot a round of trap (they live in the country). I used my 1790's era custom made English gentleman's fowler, of course. The others used their modern selections. Dad and I tied for top honors. We then went back in, cleaned our weapons, and joined the ladies for champaign and toasts, a few hands of whist, dominoes, and a planning session for our next Canadian fishing trip in June. And of course by then it was time for a leftovers meal (or in period known as supper). For me it was a wonderful day surrounded by family. And yes, I drank a toast to my friends of the RSA

I know, a day late but there's still the after-Thanksgiving feast to be had, so enjoy that! I'm going to go walk off the meal at the mall today, which is a good excuse to shop too.

I had a quiet Thanksgiving with my sister at home. It was a great 4 day weekend... I wish there were more of those in the year. I got a lovely new bonnet done for an etsy commission and did some shopping for Christmas. I also managed to put up our Christmas tree. We found a lovely potted tree which will go next to the potted one we had for Christmas and then planted two years ago.
