I need help! I'm reading through the instructions for this and I'm a little confused on the casing. Does the casing go on the wrong or right side of the lining? I'm assuming the right side so that it is exposed to allow for drawing the drawstring... Also, I know the raw edges are sewn to the neck line, is the folded edge of the casing stitched down? Or am I wrong on which direction the casing is facing, and maybe it should be extended beyond the edge? I know I'm over thinking this...

I don't have the instructions in front of me, but if the bodice is lined, is it possible the casing runs between the two layers? You can make an eyelet on the lining layer for the drawstring to come through. It's been years and years ( and years!) since I've made the bodiced petticoat from this pattern. I don't remember the casing extending beyond the edge.

Dawn, that is totally how I thought it would make sense too. Maybe it just skipped that step in the instructions.
