Hello all! I must reiterate that I'm a novice sewer, I haven't done a "big" project since I was in the 5th grade (a long long time ago). In the pattern instructions for my chemise it says to cut the bias strip of material using the binding guide. The pattern I have is the S&S underpinnings set. It's a chemise, short stays, and chemisettes. Has anyone used this pattern? I don't know what it means by binding guide...I'm lost! Help Thanks in advance Manda

Glad you figured it out! I'm fairly new to sewing from patterns myself, and wished I could have helped, but I would have probably made it more confusing!

I know I did it wrong now LOL but it still works and so it's fine. I won't be able to start my short stays till after the holidays but I"m really excited now, I'll make another shift too but use a lighter fabric like voile.
