Fun. I apparently don't understand the differences in costume between 1840 and 1860. I got all the skirts mixed up.

I didn't do well on identifying the bodices but ok on the sleeves and skirts. Although some of the skirts were so similar, it was hard to choose. Dating the pictures, I did much better on. I'm not so good btn 1850-70 tho. But that's not my era of expertise anyhow. I'd sure like to save the picture of the lady in the blue gown that stands on the left side of each game. It's similar to my navy blue Dickens gown, and has very nice trim. Has anyone seen that anywhere that I could save it from? ***Never mind, found it. It's the 1870 dress under the Magnifying clue. The bodice is the only thing similar to mine. This has a bustle but still I like the trimming.

I got them all right on the easy game, not so great on the expert; mostly separating the 1850s and 60s...

All mid-Victorian women's fashions blur together for me. :-) (I did assemble the 1850's one correctly, but everything else was a complete guess on my part (with the expected results...))
