Hi, I'm Melissa from So. California, stay at home mom and needed something to do besides housework and taking care of the children so as a challenging hobby I decided recently to start sewing period clothing, and to start with I chose Regency clothing. And I found this forum while searching for patterns I believe it was! My favorite part of the Regency era would have to be the clothes, I've always loved the beautiful gowns, along with the etiquette.
I'm looking forward to trying to make my husband some type of Regency outfit at some point, if I can get my own done first!
I guess that's it!

Welcome! Not knowing where in So. California you are located, I hope you are aware of the annual ball in Pasadena in January: janeaustenevening.org/It is tremendously fun, if a bit crowded at times. Oh, and the more men properly dressed, the better!
