Reconstructing History? Rocking Horse Farm? Or Mode Bagatelle?
I have decided on light blue lightweight wool for the under dress and royal blue for the over dress with black trim and a black hat.
Has anyone any experience with these patterns? I cannot tell from the packages which are the best. I feel as though I have asked this question, or a similar one, already but could not find it when I used the search engine!

I would choose the Reconstructing History patterns. She sort of specializes in habits and she includes her research.
Personally, I love the La Mode pattern for people over a size 14. It fits a 'rounder' body shape perfectly, but I'm not comfortable using it in the smaller sizes. I'm also more comfortable using the La Mode pattern for a later date. (1815 and later) It doesn't have some of the unique cut features that the earlier styles had.
The Rocking Horse pattern is neat and has it's own 'look', but the research is not included.

I shall buy the reconstructing history one! Or perhaps both, one can never have too many patterns.
