Pardon the audacity, however, the gentleman of the house is not present and so is unable to properly assist in making your acquaintance. We are both new to the reenactment world, but marvel at Jane Austen and the Regency World. This is so much the case that we recently began the Spencerville Mill Heritage Fair - replete next season with a period ball. I must say that making Regency gowns is addictive - in less than four months I now own three, and Mr. Berk of Crowder House will fast possess two full outfits. Naturally, we have no pretence to such fineries being entirely historically accurate, but we are striving towards it some day. We much appreciate any advice and guidance any of you good people might provide along the way - and look forward to those events we might manage to attend. (Perhaps I should mention that the picture enclosed is of a television show we filmed recently on Heritage Tourism, just outside of Fort Wellington. Yes, that is I with the silly bonnet and microphone.) Attachments:

I am standing on the end with pink feathers in my hair, and Oldlady is between my husband and myself. A wonderful celebration of cannon fire to salute the Royal Wedding.
Welcome!

Thank you, Miss Mardi.
I hadn't wanted to out you in the picture, but hoped you might find it and decide to share.
We're to wrap up the show this month for airing in September.

Tis a delightful pleasure to meet your acquaintance Ma'am. Allow me to properly introduce myself as well. I am Captain Sir Thomas Cappel of His Majesty's Ship Phoebe.
And I must say, you are quite modest. Your skills are already quite magnificent, and shall only continue to improve with practice and experience. Your passion is undeniable, and that is what will truly sustain you in all your endeavors in this wonderful world.
As always, Your Obd't Servant Captain Sir Thomas Cappel HMS Phoebe
