Does everyone have Masterpiece Theatre's The Complete Jane Austen on their schedule of things to do in the year 2008? I am really excited to see more costumes (of Course). Should be magnificent. Everthing on Masterpiece Theatre is after all. www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/austen/index.html

Just a little secret... some folks have already broken them up into parts and posted htem on youtube. Some are alright; but as usual, I hated Mansfield Park.

Well, I will be waiting with anticipation so that I can watch it on my big screen TV. Do you enjoy the novel of Mansfield park or do you dislike all forms of Mansfield Park?

I know Mansfield Park is not my least favourite. I think Northanger Abbey takes that award. My favourite is Sense & Sensibility for Heroes and P&P for the story.

For me liking or disliking film adaptations of Jane's novels is a matter of small degree, even these new ITV videos, though I do loathe the BBC Mansfield Park adaptation from the 1980's. I own the VHS boxed set, and was never able to sit entirely through it. I am thoroughly enjoying these Jane Austen Sundays.

I hardly ever watch TV, but back in December I claimed the TV every Sunday from January to March just for the Complete Jane Austen. I haven't missed a Sunday Night yet!!! I love them. As I have not seen Emma yet, I was wondering if you all reccommend the version that is coming on PBS or the one with Gweneth Paltrow?

I think I probably do prefer the PBS version, however, I also was surprised that I enjoyed the GP movie so much (since I don't really like GP, especially!)
