Hello I'm a high school drama teacher in the Washington DC area and we're doing Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice this fall. I'd love to have an expert in the Regency period come in and speak to the student actors about decorum, posture, manners, etiquette, etc so that our production can be as authentic as possible. Is there a Regency expert in this network who lives in the DC area, is comfortable working with (well-behaved) high-schoolers who would be interested in making a visit? I'd especially like for the students to learn the correct posture and carriage. We could potentially pay a small stipend to the right person. The visit would likely be around 6:30 on a weeknight.
Thanks!
