Has anyone ever tried their hand at this? In S&S I saw them cutting reeds and then they wore a lot of hats that "looked" hand woven. I would be very interested know if any of your have done it or have information on it.

That was interesting. It's not surprising to me that the people who actually weaved the bonnets made more money. I've been searching for more info, but have come up short. If I ever do find anything I will post.
