G'Day. My name is Rebecca and although I've been costuming for over 30 years, it's been off and on. Ten years ago, I made a couple of Regency dresses with a corset only they won't fit me anymore since I've lost over 50 lbs and am still working on losing more. I am looking for assistance or help with making my husband an outfit because it's more tailoring although I'm not sure what the difference is between just sewing and tailoring.
I have the folkwear Prince Charlie jacket along with the kilts, etc and I think it fits fairly well, so I was thinking of using that as my basis for all of his jackets by just modifying them into the styles I need.

Hello Rebecca-
Welcome! I am not a costumer, so I cannot help you with your questions - I just wanted to give you a warm welcome and thank you for joining up. We have loads of people with sewing talent, so I'm sure someone will be happy to help you.
Have a wonderful weekend!
