I am planning a Regency Birthday Party for myself and have a few questions that I would like to ask :)
I enjoy studying all forms of history and that includes fashion history :)
I sew pretty much all the time and also teach classes to beginner tweens. I think they enjoy it :)
My very first reenactment will be in October but we are portraying the Civil War. I am falling in love with the Regency Period though :'( I wish we were reenacting that instead but maybe I could do both someday :)
Thoughtfully edited to add poster's name to subject ~ Admin

Welcome MissLynn. I think many of us started with one era, and it gradually grew into others. What part of the country are you in? Someone here may be able to point you to some Regency events. Val

Welcome MissLynn. Sounds like much fun. Being an avid bonnet-maker myself, and having held a bonnet workshop already, I think it a worthy project that will be very fun to do as a group. I agree, one gown in one day is very optimistic.
Reticules are also a great idea.
