I was so exited to stumble across this lovely site. I'm ashamed to say that I only just recently found an interest in Jane Austen through the movie Becoming Jane. I had to know more!!! While I was sad to find out that it wasn't completely factual, it did lead me to pick up her books and research them. Its been such a learning experience, and a real joy. The Regency Era has become such an interest of mine I don't know the last time I've had my head out of a book. I hope that I will have the pleasure of getting to know all of you and learning from you as well.

Welcome Miss Laurie.
I think most of us started the same way, infected by either the books or the movies, and then for many of us, the gowns they wore, and we wanted to make. I hope this site is everything you could hope for!
