PBS has started airing this period piece this month, I missed the opening episode on Sunday, but it's playing on the next few Sundays. FYI.

I have been waiting for months for this new adaption to 'cross the pond'. I was able to watch the first 3 episodes that aired on the 29th, but unfortunetly we no longer get PBS at our house so I will have to wait until we can get the movie on DVD. I wasn't sure what I would think of Matthew Macfayden as Arthur Clenman, but he has really grown on me!! All of the characters are well cast and they fit nicely with each other, if you know what I mean.

We just finished watching all of the episodes posted so far. ;o) This adaption has really had superb acting in it... the scene where Amy rejects John's marriage proposal is by far the best rejection scene I have ever seen. And Blandois is absolutely vile! He is by far the best Desparate Character I have ever seen in a movie...
