Er um, I was geeking out so much about this that I forgot to tell you about myself. I apologize My name is Amanda. I bought myself my first sewing machine for my birthday. I've been in love with all things Jane Austen since I first saw BBC's Pride & Prejudice starring Collin Firth and Jennifer Ehle, back in the early 90s. I'd love to dress in a beautiful empire gown and go to a ball, or visit friends and drink tea. I was working as a medical assistant for about a year but...well don't anymore. I stay home with my 3 yr old son and am loving it!! I'm so glad I found this society |

Maudelynn, I very much enjoyed Emma. It was a very intimate "stage" there were seat all around the floor and the actors worked in the middle. It was very well done though of the characters were over acted, perhaps it was just that the characters are loud and obnoxious....(Mrs Elton and Harriet Smith) I had a very good time!
