Hello My name is Julia.
I live in Pittsburgh, I came her by the way of Georgia and before that I lived in Germany.
My last name just happens to be Bennett which suits my regency and Jane Austen obsession just fine!
Really I'm pretty much obsessed with most things historical especally clothing!
I loooooove historical costume! So much a got a degree in fashion design, so I could make my own costumes!
I did some sca for a while but found it wasn't my thing, now i have a whole room full of period clothing and nowhere to wear it!
Unfortunately we don't have a regency society here in Pittsburgh, i may have to remedy that some day but for now I joined the Georgia chapter since my parents live in Atlanta, and I may be able to go to some events while visiting them.
For now i guess I'll have to be content with dreaming of the awesome dresses I will make for potential events i may go to in the future, and chatting with you fine pepole her at the forum.
