Hey guys, I'm moving long on my underpinnings and wondered what kind of dress form you all would suggest I get. I'm asking lots of folks what they recommend. Thanks in advance!

Get one of those adjustable dress forms, I got a dress form and then gained a lot weight and now it's not my size anymore so it's pretty much useless to me now. Thy are also practical if you want to make clothes for someone else. I believe singer makes adjustable dress forms.

I love the adjustable ones from Hancock fabric. it really helps if you want to do tight lacing of your stays in one dress and lighter lacing in another, etc! Good luck!

Awesome I think I'll go with the adjustable kind...does it matter which brand to get?

I have a uniquely you form which is really nice because you can have multiple covers for the same form and still get a nice fit. so you can make one cover to fit your body in stays/corset and one for sewing modern clothes or another period corset shape. I bought mine a fabric depot in Portland. I don't like that the adjustable are only kinda adjustable and they can't really match exact measurements though if you are only doing regency the gowns were loose fitting enough that it shouldn't be a big problem.
