Newbie From NE Indiana

I am a newbie here from NE Indiana and just started sewing Regency clothing. My family and I will be attending a Regency Ball in Jackson, MI at the end of March. I have completed my daughters dress, my stays and chemise and just started on my dress.
I am using the SS patterns, but I am altering mine to have inserts in the sleeves and in the neckline.
I appreciate all teh help you are willing to gove me as I get going on the men's jackets, as I have not really found a great pattern to use. I did buy the Burda pattern, but it has so many pieces. Anyway I digress sorry!

Well, hop into our patterns section and browse, there are lots of blurbs about different patterns for men's frock coats. I recommend the Wingeo frock coat to start with... it makes a decent frock coat and it's fairly easy to make... Fairly. Tailoring isn't fun.
