allow me to introduce myself....
I am Linda, I live south of Atlanta, and recently I came upon the notion to find a group of like minded people interested in the Regency Era. Low and behold, I found the Regency Society of America, and through them the Georiga Regency Society.
Within days of my "notion", I attended, with sewing notions, a workshop for constructing a Regency Era bodice. I met charming and agreeable ladies, and learned a great deal. I am delighted at the prospect of what may be.
I am attending the RSA Forum as Lucy Walker, a name that has brought much adventure from my mid-19th century experiments. I suppose, in this regard, I may be "my own grandmother".
Thank you to Stephanie!
Warmly, L.

Welcome, Miss Lucy! It's nice to see another new face. My story is similar to yours, though I am in Nebraska. As far as I know, there is no Regency Society group in my area, though there is the Jane Austen Society. They don't get into the costumes (yet!) but are intrigued by the idea!
Have fun here! There is a lot of interesting information to be found!
With warm regards, Barbara

Hi Linda!
So lovely to see you here. I look forward to seeing you at future events and I'm so glad you had fun at the workshop. I love your persona description, Lucy sounds absolutely charming.
