Hi, I'm new. Obviously.

My name is Annette. And I am a regency era obsessed former missionary kid. I spent the first seven years of my life living in a small village in England, and while my body may have left, I think my heart and soul still remain somewhere in the lush green countryside.

I adore all things British. I've even managed to convince my husband that it is perfectly normal to watch Pride & Prejudice once a month. =)

And I think it perfectly reasonable to watch Pride and Prejudice once a month! As long as it's the Colin Firth version for me. :-)

Oh be still my heart, Colin Firth is definitely my favorite. And I think Mrs. Bennett is played best in that version as well.

But I do love both the Keira Knightely version and the black & white version from the 50s(I think it is).
