I'm a Southern Californian, living in the City of Sin (Las Vegas) for about 5 years now. I've finally decided to pursue my dream of a career in academia and am attending UNLV this fall for the first step toward a doctorate in late eighteenth/early nineteenth British history. 
Obviously I love the Regency Era and I can't wait to become totally immersed in it. Reading Regency romance and non-fiction is a passion of mine and I also hope to do some extensive travelling to the UK for my studies.
I'm grateful to have found such an active forum here. I hope you'll all allow me to take in the information you've gathered through your love of this time period as well.
